Mechatronics is centered on mechanics, electronics, control engineering, computing, molecular engineering which combined, make possible the generation of simpler, more economical, reliable and versatile systems.
The purpose of this interdisciplinary engineering field is the study of automata from an engineering perspective and serves the purpose of controlling advanced hybrid system.
The word itself is a pormanteau of ¡®Mechanics¡¯ and ¡®Electronics¡¯. Mechatronics may alternatively be referred to as ¡®electromechanical system¡¯ or less often as ¡®control and automation engineering¡¯.
According to the current market demand & users¡¯ ever-changing needs, equipment providers are required to design the machine with the mechatronics idea to control the mechanical parts & operational software components at once.
HANMI mechatronics R&D team, we have been studied to apply it to the semiconductor equipment improving operational function and looking for new business model.

A linear motor or linear induction motor is essentially a multi-phase alternating cutting electric motor that has had its stator ¡®unrolled¡¯ so that instead of producing a rotation it produces a linear force along its length.
HANMI linear motors employ and electromagnetic principle. Electromagnetic force provides direct linear movement without use of cams, gears, belts or other mechanical components.
The distinct advantage of electromagnetic force type linear motor is able to run with high speed, acceleration, accuracy, stiffness, direct drive and very smoothness motion.
