On November 29, 2006, the ceremony of awarding the Excellent Quality Competitiveness Enterprise was held in KCCI(the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry) in the attendance of a number of quality management specialists and prize awardees. In this ceremony, Hanmi Semiconductor was designated as the 2006 Excellent Quality Competitiveness Enterprise and it is the ninth winning since 1997. And Ho-Jin Kim, the manager of Fabrication Department 2, won commendation from the minister of MOCIE(the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy) by merit to have contributed in the enhancement of quality competitiveness and establishment of quality policy. The Excellent Quality Competitiveness Enterprise was established in 1997 by MOCIE to contribute to elevation of the industrial competitiveness and to spread the quality management system. This ceremony is the tenth since the beginning.
